Prop 2

I've been counting down the days to vote. I'm nervous, and worried that the majority of people are going to vote against it. This isn't just religious fanatics or people that aren't well informed. I have talked to several people about it, and one of the reasons that have come up lately is that it's a gateway drug. The most recent people that have been telling me this are addicts themselves, especially those in recovery. It makes me so mad. I don't want them to vote. It isn't fair! Just because someone can't control themselves doesn't mean that people like me should have to suffer for it. It sounds rude, but I don't care! It isn't like Prop 2 is making it legal to buy marijuana everywhere. You will need a medical card, and since a lot of doctors here disagree with it, it's going to take more than just a 'headache' to get it. I wish I could say this to more than just the people around me. Why isn't there more good media with it? Why isn't there more information readily available to inform those that know nothing about it? Come on Utah, get with the program!
